Antiviral and immunostimulating agents. ATC code L03A X.

An antiviral agent with an immunomodulatory effect that specifically suppresses influenza A and B viruses, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Prevents contact and penetration of viruses into cells by suppressing the fusion of the lipid membrane with cell membranes. It has an interferon-inducing effect, stimulates humoral and cellular immune responses, the phagocytic function of macrophages, and increases the body's resistance to viral infections. Reduces the incidence of complications associated with a viral infection.

Therapeutic efficacy in viral infections is manifested in a decrease in general intoxication and cellular manifestations of the disease, and the duration of the disease is reduced. The preparation belongs to low-toxic preparations (LD50> 4 g / kg), does not have a negative effect on the human body when used in recommended doses.

The preparation is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract. The maximum concentration is reached 1.2 hours after taking a dose of 50 mg, 1.5 hours after taking a dose of 100 mg. The half-life is 17 - 21 hours. Approximately 40% of the preparation is excreted unchanged in feces (38.9%) and in the urine (0.12%). During the first day, 90% of the administered dose is excreted.

excipients: potato starch, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, gelatin, sunset yellow FCF (E 110), titanium dioxide (E 171), Ponceau 4R (E 124).
