Cream-balm Artaflex TM is a complex remedy with chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, used to improve the functional state and prevent degenerative-dystrophic changes in the spine and joints. The components of the balm cream have decongestant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Active ingredients

Chondroitin sulfate is a high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide contained in significant quantities in cartilage tissue and synovial fluid, which acts as a moisturizer for articular surfaces, increases the density and elasticity of articular cartilage and protects it from destruction. Able to influence phosphorus-calcium metabolism, slow down bone resorption, inhibit the process of degeneration of cartilage tissue.

Glucosamine, a substance necessary for the construction of cartilage and bone tissue, is part of the synovial fluid. Glucosamine promotes the deposition of calcium in the bones, inhibits the development of degenerative processes in the joints, restores their function and reduces pain.

Hyaluronic acid normalizes the viscosity of the intra-articular fluid, restores its lubricating, filtering and shock-absorbing properties.

Gum turpentine is a product of the distillation of fresh tree resin. The terpenes that make up it, bypassing the epidermis, act on nerve endings, dilate blood vessels, improve blood flow and have an analgesic effect.

Vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) is an active antioxidant that prevents free radicals from damaging cellular structures.

Peculiarities

A feature of ArtaflexTM cream-balm is the presence of gum turpentine in its composition, which, acting on the nerve endings and blood vessels, enhances local blood flow, which helps chondroitin, glucosamine and hyaluronic acid to more effectively manifest their effects on the joints. In addition, gum turpentine has its own analgesic effect.

Appointment

It is used as an aid to maintain joints in trauma and in the post-traumatic period, with increased loads on the musculoskeletal system, as a prophylactic agent to help improve the condition of the joints and spine in age-related degenerative-dystrophic changes.

Contraindications

Children under 12 years of age, women during pregnancy and lactation, individual intolerance to the components.

Caveats

Apply exclusively externally, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, open wounds. Before the first use, you should make a test for individual sensitivity: apply the cream to the skin on the inside of the wrist and wait 10 minutes. If there is a reaction (itching, redness, rash, etc.), do not apply the cream. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. In case of accidental contact of the cream in the eyes, they should be thoroughly rinsed with water until the residues of the cream are completely removed.

Method of administration and dosage

Apply cream-balm with massage movements on problem areas with a thin layer 2-3 times a day for 7-10 days.
