Indications:

Aviomarin is used to combat motion sickness and to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting of any other origin (in addition to those caused by medicines used to treat cancer). The preparation is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Properties:

The active ingredient in Aviomarin, dimenhydrinate, has an anti-emetic, anti-allergic and mild sedative effect. The onset of action occurs 20-30 minutes after preparation administration, and the therapeutic effects last for 3 to 6 hours after preparation administration.

Composition:

The active substance is dimenhydrinate. Each tablet contains 50 mg of dimenhydrinate.

Use:

Aviomarin should be taken orally. The recommended dose should be taken at least 30 minutes before a planned trip or taking a poorly tolerated preparation.

Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age:

The recommended dose is between 50 mg and 100 mg. It can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours if necessary.

The maximum daily dose should not exceed 400 mg.

Children aged 6 to 14:

The recommended dose is 50 mg. It can be repeated every 6 to 8 hours if necessary.

The maximum daily dose in children should not exceed 5 mg / kg body weight, but not more than 150 mg per day.

Aviomarin is intended for children who are able to swallow a tablet on their own.

Important information:

Aviomarin should not be used if:

- you are allergic (hypersensitive) to dimenhydramin, antihistamines or any of the other ingredients of the medicine,

- Patient has: acute asthma, narrow-angle glaucoma, phaeochromocytoma, porphyria, prostatic hypertrophy and urine retention in the bladder, epilepsy.

Aviomarin has a limiting effect on psychophysical fitness, therefore it should not be used by people driving motor vehicles and operating mechanical devices in motion.
