BeOrganic Iron BIO is the maximum daily dose of plant-based iron in the form of organic curry leaf extract (Bergera koenigii), standardized for this ingredient. BIOVit & Min's® extract is a digestive-friendly, natural source of iron with high digestibility. In plants, iron is stored in plant ferritin - a complex of iron (III) ions surrounded by a protein shell that reaches the human intestine intact. There, the stored iron is gradually released and incorporated into human ferritin. This gradual release and absorption of iron is beneficial because it avoids the unwanted side effects - such as constipation - that often accompany conventional iron supplementation.
