Indications

Prevention and supplementation of calcium deficiency in the body, e.g. during pregnancy or lactation, in the treatment of osteoporosis, as an auxiliary in the treatment of allergy symptoms.

Composition

The active substances of the preparation are organic calcium salts (calcium gluconolactobionate anhydrous and calcium lactobionate dihydrate) in an amount corresponding to 115.6 mg of calcium ions in 5 ml of syrup. In addition, the preparation contains: sucrose, sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid monohydrate (E330), purified water.

Action

Calcium is a building component of the body and plays an important role in many physiological processes. Calcium also reduces the permeability of the blood vessel walls.

Dosage

Oral use. Adults: 15 ml 2 or 3 times a day. Children: up to 6 years: 5 ml 2 or 3 times a day, from 6 to 12 years: 10 ml 2 or 3 times a day. The syrup should be dosed using the measuring cup attached to the package.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients, increased levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia, e.g. in patients with hyperparathyroidism, severe renal failure, hypervitaminosis D), increased urinary calcium excretion (hypercalciuria), severe renal failure, nephrolithiasis, atrioventricular block.
