Indications

Candiderm is intended for topical use in infectious, inflammatory and allergic skin diseases accompanied by a secondary bacterial and fungal infection.

Application

Outwardly 2-3 times a day. Wash and dry the affected area before use. then completely cover the affected area with a thin layer of cream. on hairy areas of the body, before applying the cream, it is necessary to part the hair to achieve direct contact with the affected area.

Usually, the manifestations of the disease disappear after 2-4 weeks from the start of the preparation, however, treatment should be continued for several more days after the disappearance of any manifestations of the disease.

Contraindications

Cutaneous form of tuberculosis, chicken pox, herpes simplex, measles, vaccination period, syphilitic skin lesions. increased individual sensitivity to any component of the preparation. During pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects

Burning sensation, dry skin, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne-like rashes, redness of the skin, vesicles, detachment of the epidermis, tingling sensation, swelling, itching, urticaria.

special instructions

The preparation is intended for use only in dermatological practice. prolonged use of the preparation may cause overgrowth of non-susceptible microorganisms. in this case, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapeutic measures taken. systemic absorption of beclomethasone dipropionate and gentamicin may increase significantly when the preparation is used on large areas of the skin, especially when applied to damaged, burned or granulated skin.

In this regard, it is necessary to avoid the use of the preparation on open wounds or damaged areas of the skin.

It is not recommended to use Candiderm with occlusive dressings.

Overdose

Acute overdose with topical application of Candida is unlikely. however, topical application to large areas of the skin may result in systemic absorption of beclomethasone and gentamicin.
