Chema-Elektromet

Chema-Elektromet Spółdzielnia Pracy is a private pharmaceutical enterprise operating on the market for over 60 years. Initially, the main source of income was production and services of various other profiles. Pharmaceutical production was only a fraction of the Cooperative activities.

In the 1990s pharmaceutical production became the basic activity of the Cooperative and that has continued by the present times.

The Cooperative has two production plants, one for medicinal products and the other for medical devices.

The strategic objective of Chema-Elektromet Spółdzielnia Pracy activities is manufacturing the highest quality pharmaceuticals to satisfy specific therapeutic requirements as well as the needs and expectations of the patients and medical staff. We offer over 90 different products, mainly for dentists and dermatologists.

Dermatological production comprises mainly antibiotic ointments with various active substances, mainly to apply in skin diseases. Dental production includes medical devices needed at every surgery. We manufacture medical devices and medicinal products applied in restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral and maxillofascial surgery, dental prosthetics, as well as preparations used in caries and parodontitis prevention and treatment.

Growing competition on the part of new generation medicinal products and medical devices, as well as a significant progress in the work of doctors forces us to extend the product assortment with new items every year in order to follow the trends. When developing technologies and implementing new products Chema cooperates with many research and scientific centres in Poland, including the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze, Wrocław Medical University, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Rzeszow University of Technology, Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials in Warsaw. These institutions test and analyse new preparations with regard to their physical, chemical and medical properties. Our cooperation results in high quality materials esteemed on the market and among the specialists.
