Indications

Treatment of superficial wounds, such as abrasions, cuts, skin cracks, burns, skin irritations (e.g. after excessive sun exposure, radiotherapy, quartz lamp irradiation), minor dermatitis, ulcerations. The preparation is especially indicated for the treatment of dry skin. In nipple care during breastfeeding - prevention and treatment of abrasions and irritation of the nipples. In infant care - preventing and treating chafes and skin inflammations.

Composition

1g of the ointment contains: active substance: dexpanthenol 50 mg and excipients: white petroleum jelly, white wax, liquid paraffin, polysorbate 80, substance improving the smell of Marigolds Y66, purified water.

Action

After topical application to the skin, dexpanthenol is metabolized to pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the epithelium and skin, and affects skin regeneration.

Dosage

The preparation is intended for use on the skin. In the treatment of superficial wounds, the preparation should be applied once or several times a day, depending on the local condition. In the care of the nipples of breastfeeding women, an ointment compress should be applied to the nipples. The nipples should be washed before each breastfeeding. In the care of infants, the preparation should be applied each time the diaper is changed, after washing the areas exposed to chafing with water.

Contraindications

Allergy to any component of the preparation, do not use on large and infected wounds, avoid contact with the eyes, pregnancy, lactation.
