The preparation is recommended for the treatment of oral ailments, mucositis, sore throat and swelling. Cholinex is also helpful in the treatment of inflammation of the gums and periodontal tissues resulting from dental treatment, as well as in the treatment of infections of the mucosa and the mouth and throat with antibiotics.

1 tablet contains active substances: choline salicylate 150 mg and auxiliary substances: isomalt, liquid malitol, aspartame (E 951), potassium acesulfame, peppermint oil.

The active substances of the preparation have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. They reduce congestion of the mucosa and throat, and soothe swelling.

Adults and children over 12 years of age on average suck 1 lozenge 4 to 6 times a day.

There is a clear contraindication to the use of lozenges in case of allergy to any active or excipient substance of the preparation. The preparation should not be used during pregnancy and lactation, as well as in diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, esophageal varices, phenylketonuria, gastric or duodenal ulcers, and bronchial asthma.
