Ciamax is a medical device for ophthalmic use. It is a sterile physiological and isoosmotic solution without preservatives, of medium viscosity, specially created on the basis of two groups of components: the first group consists of rosmarinic acid, vitamin B12 and allantoin, which act as antioxidants, anti-irritants, have an anti-inflammatory and protective effect on the surface of the eye; the second group contains hyaluronic acid, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and glycerin, provides lubrication, hydration, viscosity and wetting of the ocular surface.

Rosemary acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the plant kingdom, it is a polyphenol with strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which is especially useful in case of allergic reactions. Rosemary acid protects against free radicals and thus protects the eye tissues from the effects of daily oxidative stress.

Allantoin is a naturally occurring compound. Oxidation product of uric acid. It has an anti-irritant and protective effect - it is able to form sensitizing substances and increase the amount of water in the extracellular matrix. Due to its moisturizing properties, allantoin also promotes tissue repair and physiological cell proliferation after eye injuries.

Vitamin B12 - is an essential nutrient, is not synthesized in the human body, has antioxidant properties and helps to create an appropriate extracellular microenvironment on the surface of the eye for normal growth and replication of the ocular epithelium, improving the trophic effect.

Hyaluronic acid is a highly biocompatible polysaccharide that is natural for all body tissues. Due to its viscoelastic and moisturizing properties, it provides the product with high lubricating properties, facilitates the sliding of the eyelids and reduces their friction on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva, which, in turn, also reduces dry eyes.

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a biocompatible thickener (composed of cellulose, a naturally occurring hydrocarbon whose molecule contains repeating glucose residues) that can increase the viscosity of the droplets and therefore the residence time of the product on the ocular surface. At the same time, the HPMC can be rapidly removed during blinking.

Vegetable glycerin is a natural ingredient that is used in eye drops as a wetting agent because it reduces the evaporation of tear fluid, thereby improving corneal hydration.

The combination of hyaluronic acid and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose makes the drug viscous, prevents the removal of eye drops from the ocular surface during blinking, without causing blurred vision or the usual discomfort, as in other high viscosity products.

Ciamax protects the eyes from damage caused by UV radiation and blue light, both natural (sunlight) and artificial origin, emitted by the screens of PCs, tablets, smartphones and TVs;

restores the volume of tears, removes the allergen from the tear film, stimulating blinking after instillation of the agent, counteracts oxidative phenomena, enhancing physiological antioxidant mechanisms;

Individual intolerance to the components

Wash hands thoroughly.

Tear off the seal before the first injection.

Remove the protective cap and open the bottle.

Turn the bottle upside down and press lightly to drip 2 drops into each eye, unless otherwise indicated.

Shake the bottle to remove any remaining drops before lighting it, trying not to touch the tip of the applicator, including your eyes or fingers.

Gradual emptying of the vial may require more pressure on the instillation vial. This is due to the properties of the closure system, which ensures the preservation of the sterility, chemical and physical characteristics of the solutions without preservatives.

The contents of the bottle can be used within 3 months from the date of opening.
