Product description
Combispasm is indicated for pain syndromes with a spastic component of various origins:
- headache;
- toothache
- muscle pain, neuralgia;
- rheumatic pain, radiculitis;
- renal colic;
- menstrual pain.
Structure
Active ingredients: paracetamol, dicyclomine hydrochloride
1 tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, dicyclomine hydrochloride 20 mg
Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline methylcellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, talc, colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch (type A).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Glaucoma, tachycardia, urinary tract obstruction, benign prostatic hypertrophy with a tendency to urinary retention, severe renal and / or liver dysfunction, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, alcoholism, blood diseases, anemia (including hemolytic), leukopenia. Dynamic intestinal obstruction, paralytic intestinal obstruction, stenosis of the pyloric part of the gastrointestinal tract with obstruction, severe ulcerative colitis, obstructive diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and biliary tract with impaired patency, gastric or duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis; congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert, Dubin-Johnson and Rotor syndromes), myasthenia gravis, thyrotoxicosis, heart failure.
Mode of application
The preparation is taken orally with a small amount of liquid (200 ml).
Adults: 1-2 tablets, depending on the severity of pain, 1-4 times a day. When carrying out therapy for adults, it is advisable to start with 4 tablets per day. The maximum dose can be increased to 8 tablets per day, with good tolerance and no side effects.

The preparation is not recommended for women during pregnancy and lactation.
Children
The preparation should not be administered to children under 7 years of age.
Drivers
Since dicyclomine hydrochloride can cause adverse reactions from the nervous system and organs of vision, when using the preparation, you should refrain from driving and operating mechanisms.
Overdose
Treatment.
In case of an overdose, an ambulance is needed. Treatment should be started immediately. The patient should be taken to hospital immediately, even if there are no early symptoms of overdose.
Symptoms may be limited to nausea and vomiting, or may not reflect the severity of the overdose or the risk of organ damage. Gastric lavage, taking activated charcoal (if an excessive dose of paracetamol was taken within 1 hour). The concentration of paracetamol should be measured 4 hours or later after ingestion (earlier concentrations are unreliable). Treatment with N-acetylcysteine can be applied within 24 hours after taking the preparation, but the maximum protective effect occurs when it is used within 8 hours after administration under the control of the state of the respiratory and circulatory systems (adrenaline cannot be used). The effectiveness of the antidote decreases sharply after this time. If seizures occur, diazepam is prescribed. If necessary, the patient should be injected intravenously with N-acetylcysteine, according to the current recommendations. In the absence of vomiting, oral methionine can be used as an appropriate alternative in remote areas outside the hospital.
There is no specific antidote to dicyclomine hydrochloride.
If necessary, symptomatic therapy, peritoneal dialysis should be carried out.
It is also necessary to take general supportive measures.
Side effects
Usually the preparation is well tolerated. Side effects associated with the active substances that make up the preparation are usually manifested with prolonged use of the preparation in large doses.
Paracetamol.
From the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea or flatulence. With prolonged use of high doses of the preparation - pain in the epigastric region.
Interaction
Features of preparation interaction are due to the properties of its constituents.
Paracetamol, which is part of the preparation, reduces the effectiveness of diuretics.
Storage conditions
Store in its original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
