Indications

Inhibition of plaque formation. As an aid in the treatment and prevention of gingivitis, and in maintaining oral hygiene, especially when toothbrushing cannot be performed properly (e.g. after oral surgery and in physically or mentally handicapped patients). For use after periodontal surgery to accelerate gum healing. Supporting the treatment of aphthous stomatitis and oral yeast infections (e.g. prosthetic stomatitis and thrush).

Composition

The active substance is chlorhexidine gluconate. The other ingredients are: glycerol, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, non-crystallising liquid sorbitol, Optamint 291616 flavor, purified water.

Action

Antimicrobial.

Contraindications

You are allergic to chlorhexidine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
