Indications

Acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and bronchi with difficulty expectoration of sticky secretions from the respiratory tract.

Composition

5 ml of syrup contains the active ingredient 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride and excipients: sorbitol solution, glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, purified water, masking flavor, 10% hydrochloric acid (to adjust the pH).

Action

It increases the secretion of mucus in the respiratory tract and improves its transport, and thus facilitates expectoration and soothes cough.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age: initially, for 2 to 3 days, 10 ml of syrup 3 times a day, then the dose should be used twice a day;

- children from 6 to 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 2 to 3 times a day;

- children from 2 to 6 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

- children from 1 to 2 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 2 times a day.

The preparation should be taken after meals. Do not take the preparation immediately before going to bed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation.
