Medical device Deflu® Silver Throat gargle is used as an adjuvant that helps to alleviate the course of acute and chronic lesions of the throat and oral cavity accompanying tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, stomatitis, due to the intended effect on the mucous membrane, without the help of pharmacological, immunological and metabolic agents but with the ability to facilitate their activity.

The rinsing procedure has a positive effect on the condition of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. There is a direct contact of the liquid with the inflamed or injured mucous membrane, infectious and toxic agents are washed off.

Active substances

Colloidal silver has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal activity, therefore it can help to suppress many pathogens on the mucous membrane of the throat and mouth. When applied topically (in the mouth and throat), the colloidal silver solution has a temporary supposed effect against viruses, bacteria, fungi on the mucous membrane of the throat and oral cavity, but does not affect the functions of organs and body systems. Colloidal silver can have a virucidal effect against influenza and other viruses, as well as an astringent effect.

Dissolved sea salt helps to reduce edema, as a result - pain, has an antiseptic effect.

Extracts of Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica), chamomile, sage, willow bark and calendula have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, reduce irritation and pain.

Essential oils of tea tree and eucalyptus have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, promote healing.

Structure

Sea salt, sodium bicarbonate, colloidal solution of silver, potassium iodide, extracts of Icelandic moss, chamomile, sage, willow bark, calendula, essential oils of eucalyptus, mint, tea tree, anise, thymol. Excipients: PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, D-panthenol, ascorbic acid, citric acid, maltodextrin, methylene blue.

Method of administration and dosage

Use only as a topical mouth and throat rinse.

Prepare the solution immediately before use.

Dissolve the content of 1 sachet in a glass (200 ml (ml)) of warm boiled water, mix thoroughly until the components are completely dissolved. Use the warm solution only as a topical mouth and throat rinse. Do not swallow!

The procedure should be carried out while standing, for children - under the supervision of adults. Pour the product into your mouth, tilt your head back and draw out the sound “and” for 30 seconds. Then spit out the solution, collect a new portion and repeat the procedure until the prepared volume is used. The content of 1 sachet is calculated for the preparation of a solution for 1 procedure.

It is advisable to rinse the procedure between meals and refrain from eating and drinking after the procedure for about half an hour. Rinse 4-5 times a day. Do not store the prepared solution. Use for adults and children over 4 years old (since less children still cannot gargle on their own). Use in children under adult supervision.

The general course of application is 5-10 days.

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Transparent liquid from green to brown. Packaging: 1 sachet contains 8 g (g) of light blue powder with white, blue and brownish blotches for the preparation of a solution for rinsing the mouth and throat. 10 sachets are placed in a cardboard box along with instructions for use.

Storage conditions

Store in its original packaging at temperatures from 5 ° C to 25 ° C in a dry, protected from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Do not refrigerate.
