Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gouty, infectious, psoriatic and traumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendovaginitis, radiculitis, thrombophlebitis, neuralgia, myalgia; symptomatic treatment of diseases accompanied by inflammation and pain.

Diclofenac-health ultra is used externally.

Adults and children over 12 years of age apply the gel in a thin layer 3-4 times a day, rubbing it lightly into the skin.

The amount of the preparation depends on the size of the affected area (so, 2-4 g of gel, the volume corresponds to the size of a cherry or walnut, enough to apply to an area of 400-800 cm2).

After applying the preparation, hands should be washed.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined individually depending on the indications and effectiveness of therapy, which should be determined no less than 2 weeks after the start of treatment.

The preparation should not be used for more than 14 days in a row for soft tissue pathology or for more than 21 days for arthritis.

Elderly patients: do not need to adjust the dose of the preparation.

Erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, ba, hematopoietic disorders, hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, pregnancy and breastfeeding, children under 14 years of age.

Possible phenomena of local skin irritation: itching, hyperemia, burning, rash.

The preparation should be applied only to intact areas of the skin, avoiding its contact with the damaged surface, open wounds, in the eyes and on the mucous membrane. after applying the preparation, you must wash your hands if this area is not subject to treatment.

The use of the gel can be combined with diclofenac sodium tablets in a daily dose not exceeding 75 mg.

With caution, the gel is prescribed to patients with peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, bronchial asthma, rhinitis, polyps of the nasal mucosa, with liver, kidney, hematopoietic function disorders, with the simultaneous use of other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory preparations.

Interaction with other medicinal products during external use of the gel has not been established. however, it should be taken into account that diclofenac sodium can potentiate specific effects, including the ulcerogenic effect of corticosteroids, increase the concentration of digoxin and lithium in the blood, and weaken the effect of thiazide diuretics and furosemide. therapeutic effectiveness when used with salicylates decreases, while the ulcerogenic effect on the gastric mucosa increases. when used simultaneously with anticoagulants, the condition of the blood coagulation system should be monitored.

When the gel is applied to large areas of the skin or when the recommended doses are exceeded, systemic side effects typical of diclofenac sodium and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations may occur: dyspepsia, nausea, epigastric pain, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, bronchospasm.

Treatment: dose reduction or withdrawal of the preparation, symptomatic therapy.
