Dicopeg Junior Free is a medical device in the form of a powder intended for the treatment of constipation in children from 6 months of age. 1 sachet of the preparation contains 5g of macrogol 3350. The preparation for use with water or other fluids is especially recommended in the case of chronic constipation and occasional bowel disorders. The product has an osmotic laxative effect, which is based on the natural regulation of the intestines. Thanks to its hydrophilic properties, Dicopeg Junior Free softens the stool, making it easier to defecate, without causing cramps, abdominal pain or sudden pressure. The performance of the product does not decrease with time. The product is not absorbed and does not ferment in the intestines and does not irritate the mucous membranes. It is excreted unchanged in the faeces.

Treatment of chronic constipation and occasional bowel disorders in children from 6 months of age.

Children from 6 months to 2 years of age (up to 12 kg): 1-2 sachets a day,

Children from 2 to 11 years of age (12-20 kg): 2-4 sachets a day,

Children over 11 years of age (> 20 kg): 2-6 sachets a day.

The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in 1/4 glass of water or other liquid, e.g. tea, milk, herbal infusions, broth or fruit juices (62.5 ml) and drink the prepared solution.

After consulting your doctor, the dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual patient's response to treatment. Typically, the highest daily dose needed will not exceed 6 sachets. The daily dose can be taken over several administrations. You can dissolve all sachets for the day in the right amount of water and put the solution in a closed container in the refrigerator for a period not longer than 24 hours. It is recommended to take Dicopeg Junior Free at long intervals between meals.

Known hypersensitivity to macrogol.

Perforation and / or obstruction of the digestive system.

Diseases of the digestive or excretory system.

Serious inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and acute distension of the colon.

There was no interaction of the preparation with other preparations, but it is recommended to take Dicopeg Junior Free at least 2 hours apart from taking other oral preparations, because the osmotic effect of macrogol and acceleration of intestinal transit may reduce their effectiveness.

During treatment with other medications, it is recommended to consult a physician before taking Dicopeg Junior Free.

The product should be stored below 25 ° C, out of reach of children.

The preparation should be used within 2 months of first opening.
