Dicopeg Liquid is a medical device for children over 6 months of age and adults, used in the case of chronic constipation and occasional bowel disorders. The preparation has an osmotic effect in the intestine, which causes a laxative effect. Dicopeg Liquid oral solution naturally regulates the intestinal function. It is not absorbed and is not fermented in the intestines. and does not irritate the mucosa. It is excreted in the faeces unchanged. The active substance of the product is macrogol with a mass of 3350 Da.

Dicopeg Liquid is an oral solution ready to use. The package contains 10 single-dose sachets with 10 ml of solution.

Application

For use in the case of chronic constipation and in the case of occasional intestinal disorders in children over 6 months of age and adults.

Usage method

It is recommended to use the product after consulting a doctor.

Administration to children should be under the direct supervision of an adult.

In the case of larger doses, they should be divided into portions taken in the morning and evening.

The oral solution should be taken as it is contained in the sachet.

After taking the product, drink about 60 ml of water for each sachet.

Adults and children over 12 years of age:

• from 2 to 8 sachets a day.
• The maximum effective dose usually does not exceed 8 sachets per day.
• If the minimum dose (2 sachets a day) is to be taken, it is recommended to take it in the morning.

Children from 6 months to 12 years of age:

• from 6 to 10 kg: 1 sachet a day,
• from 10 to 15 kg: 1-2 sachets a day,
• from 16 to 20 kg: 2-3 sachets a day,
• 21 to 43 kg: 3-4 sachets a day.

The maximum effective dose usually does not exceed 4 sachets a day.

If a minimum dose (1 sachet per day) is to be taken, it is recommended to take it in the morning.

Ingredients

Macrogol 3350. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavor, sodium saccharin.

Important tips

Keep out of the reach of children and out of the sight of children.

Store in a cool and dry place.

The product may shorten the intestinal transit time and thus the absorption of orally administered preparations. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor if you are taking oral medications concomitantly, which must in any case be given at least 2 hours apart from the intake of Dicopeg Liquid.

In the event of side effects, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
