Active ingredients

CMF is involved in the synthesis of a complex of lipids that form the neuronal membrane, mainly sphingomyelin - the main component of the myelin sheath. Also, CMF is a precursor of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), which, in turn, are the main elements of cellular metabolism. Studies show that in the early stages of peripheral nerve damage, the uptake of pyrimidine nucleotides such as uridine and cytidine is increased. CMF and UTP are involved in the synthesis of phospholipids and glycolipids, which mainly make up the myelin sheath and other nerve structures. This promotes intense metabolic activity, which in turn contributes to the regeneration of the myelin sheath. Thus, the combination of the action of CMF and UMF promotes: regeneration of the myelin sheath, conduction of nervous excitement, restoration of muscular trophism and reduction of pain syndrome.

Vitamins B1, B6, B12 play an important role in maintaining neuronal metabolism (protein biosynthesis, myelination processes).
