Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics. Extracts of valerian and lemon balm, which are part of the preparation, have a calming effect, and also help to improve falling asleep and the course of sleep.

Indications
Anxiety, sleep disturbance due to nervous tension.
Application
For sleep disorders in adults and children over the age of 12, take 2 tablets ½-1 hour before bedtime.
In conditions of anxiety, adults and children over the age of 12 take 2 tablets up to 3 times a day.
Dormiplant should be used without chewing, regardless of the meal, with a small amount of liquid.
The duration of use is determined by the doctor depending on the therapeutic effect.
If, despite compliance with the prescribed dosage, no improvement is noted, the patient should inform the doctor about this.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients; depression; inhibition of the activity of the central nervous system; hypotensive conditions.
Side effects
Allergic reactions are possible, including redness of the skin, rash, itching, swelling of the skin; inhibition of emotional reactions, as well as the occurrence of abdominal cramps, nausea, headache, hypotension, bradycardia, arrhythmias, weakness, drowsiness; decrease in working capacity; depression; dizziness,
special instructions
When using the preparation, you must refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages.
Patients with severe hepatic impairment or a history of severe liver disease should be cautious when using the preparation.
Possible specific sensitivity to the smell of valerian.
If the patient has intolerance to some sugars, he should consult a doctor before using the preparation.
Hydrogenated castor oil can cause indigestion and diarrhea.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding. Since there are no results of experimental studies on the use of valerian root and lemon balm leaves during pregnancy and lactation, the preparation should not be prescribed during pregnancy and lactation.
Children. Since there are insufficient data on the use of the preparation in this age group, the preparation should be prescribed to children over the age of 12 years.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms. The preparation may affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms. Therefore, it should not be taken less than 2 hours before driving or operating other mechanisms. Since valerian preparations can cause drowsiness and depression in some patients, care should be taken during treatment when driving vehicles or working with other mechanisms.
Interactions
In some patients, the preparation may enhance the effect of alcohol, sedatives, hypnotics, antihypertensives, anxiolytics, antispasmodics and analgesics. this combination requires medical diagnosis and supervision.
No clinical interactions have been observed with preparations metabolized by CYP 2D6, CYP 3A4/5, CYP 1A2, or CYP 2E1.
The effect of preparations containing valerian root extract may be enhanced if a large amount of alcohol is consumed at the same time.
Overdose
Overdose may increase adverse reactions. The following are symptoms characteristic of an overdose of valerian preparations: lethargy, general weakness, trembling of the hands, dilated pupils, a feeling of constriction in the chest, spastic pain in the abdomen. Also, in case of an overdose, depression, lethargy, depression of emotional reactions, dizziness, drowsiness, decreased performance, headache, bradycardia, arrhythmia, hypotensive state, vegetovascular dystonia of the hypotonic type are possible.
Treatment: in case of overdose, stop using the preparation. Therapy is symptomatic.
