Echinacea-Teva tablets should be used as part of combination therapy for frequent relapses of infectious diseases of the respiratory and urinary tract.

Active ingredient: juice squeezed from Echinacea purpurea and dried (22-65: 1);

1 tablet contains juice squeezed from Echinacea purpurea and dried (22-65: 1), 100 mg;

Excipients: colloidal silicon dioxide, sorbitol (E 420), sodium cyclamate, magnesium stearate.

Hypersensitivity to echinacea purpurea, plants of the Asteraceae family (chamomile, arnica, calendula, dandelion) or to any other component of the preparation.

Progressive systemic diseases (eg, tuberculosis, sarcoidosis) diseases of the leukocyte blood system (eg, leukemia or similar diseases, agranulocytosis) autoimmune diseases, including multiple sclerosis, collagenosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatism, chronic viral diseases; oncological diseases; immunodeficiency states (AIDS or HIV infection), immunosuppression (for example, after organ or bone marrow transplantation, chemotherapy for cancer), diabetes mellitus.

No cases of overdose have been reported. A more pronounced manifestation of side effects is possible.

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, sleep disorders, increased excitability of the nervous system.

In case of an overdose, symptomatic therapy, gastric lavage, enterosorbents are indicated.

From the digestive tract: gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain.

From the immune system: hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema, facial edema, hyperemia, shortness of breath, dizziness, a sharp drop in blood pressure, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, bronchospasm with obstruction, bronchial asthma, anaphylactic shock). An association with the development of autoimmune diseases (disseminated encephalitis, nodous erythema, immunothrombocytopenia, Evans syndrome, Sjogren-Larsen syndrome with renal tubular dysfunction) has been reported.

From the side of the blood and lymphatic system: leukopenia with prolonged use of the preparation (more than 8 weeks).

Other: agitation, sleep disturbance.

Due to its immunostimulating effect, echinacea can reduce the effectiveness of preparations that have an immunosuppressive effect.

The preparation is not recommended to be used simultaneously with preparations with hepatotoxic effects, such as amiodarone, methotrexate, ketoconazole, steroid preparations.
