Product description

Effezel gel is used to treat common acne (acne vulgaris) with comedones, papules and pustules.

Compound

1 g of gel contains (active ingredients):

adapalene - 1 mg;

benzoyl peroxide - 25 mg.

Excipients: Simulgel 600 PHA (copolymer of acrylamide and sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, sorbitanoleate), sodium docusate, disodium edetate, glycerin, poloxamer 124, propylene glycol, purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Mode of application

Effezel gel is applied to the entire acne-affected surface once a day in the evening on clean and dry skin. The preparation is applied in a thin layer with fingertips, avoiding contact with eyes and lips.

In case of irritation, it is recommended to use non-comedogenic moisturizers, reduce the frequency of application of the preparation (for example, every other day), temporarily interrupt or completely stop.

The duration of treatment should be determined by the physician, taking into account the clinical condition of the patient. The first signs of clinical improvement usually appear after 1-4 weeks of treatment.

Due to the limited amount of data available, as well as due to the possible poor penetration of adapalene through the skin, Effezel should not be used during pregnancy.

If pregnancy occurs, treatment should be discontinued.

Children

The safety and efficacy of the preparation "Effezel" when used in children under 9 years of age have not been studied.

Drivers

The gel does not affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or using other mechanisms.

Overdose

The preparation is intended only for application to the skin once a day.

In case of unintentional ingestion, appropriate symptomatic therapy should be sought.

Side effects

On the part of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: often (≥ 1/100 and < 1/10) - dry skin, irritant contact dermatitis, skin irritation, skin burning, erythema, skin peeling.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life - 2 years.

After the first opening of the package, the preparation is suitable for use within 6 months.
