Product description

Ekvator tablets are indicated for essential hypertension in adults.

Compound

Active ingredients: lisinopril, amlodipine;

1 tablet contains lisinopril 20 mg (in the form of 21.76 mg of lisinopril dihydrate) and amlodipine 5 mg (in the form of 6.94 mg of amlodipine besylate);

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (type 101), microcrystalline cellulose (type 12), sodium starch (type A), magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

Associated with lisinopril:

Hypersensitivity to lisinopril.
A history of angioedema after ACE inhibitors, hereditary or idiopathic angioedema
Simultaneous use with preparations containing aliskiren, in patients with diabetes mellitus or with impaired renal function;
Application to patients on hemodialysis using high-flow membranes;
Pregnancy or pregnancy planning period, lactation period.

Amlodipine-related:

Hypersensitivity to amlodipine;
Severe arterial hypotension;
Shock (including cardiogenic shock);
Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (severe aortic stenosis or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) or severe mitral stenosis;
Hemodynamically unstable heart failure after myocardial infarction.

Mode of application

The preparation is intended for oral administration. The tablets can be taken with or without food.

You should refrain from driving vehicles or other mechanisms until the individual patient's response to the preparation is clarified.

Overdose

Symptoms associated with an overdose of ACE inhibitors may include arterial hypotension, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure, hyperventilation, tachycardia, heart palpitations, bradycardia, dizziness, anxiety, and cough.

Overdose can lead to excessive peripheral vasodilation with reflex tachycardia. Prolonged systemic arterial hypotension was also recorded, up to shock with a fatal outcome.

Side effects

General disorders and conditions at the injection site: very often - edema often - increased fatigue, asthenia infrequently - chest pain, pain, malaise.

Interaction

The simultaneous use of lisinopril with other antihypertensive agents (for example, nitroglycerin, other nitrates, or other vasodilators) can further reduce blood pressure.

When used simultaneously with ethanol, it enhances the hypotensive effect of lisinopril.

The antihypertensive effect of amlodipine enhances the corresponding effect of other preparationsthat have antihypertensive properties.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in its original packaging to protect from light and moisture.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 2 years.
