Flavovir syrup is taken for the following indications:

Etiotropic treatment and prevention of ARVI.

Etiotropic treatment and prevention of influenza, including those caused by viruses of pandemic strains.

Structure

1 ml of syrup contains:

0.02 ml of Proteflazid liquid extract obtained from a mixture of herbs (1: 1) Soddy pike (Herba Deschampsia caespitosa L.) and Ground Veinik (Herba Calamagrostis epigeios L.) (extraction solvent - ethanol 96%), which is equivalent to at least 0 , 0035 mg of flavonoids calculated as rutin;

Excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol 96%, sorbitol (E 420), methylparaben (E 218), propylparaben (E 216), sodium sulfite (E 221), purified water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum in the acute stage. Autoimmune diseases.

Mode of application

Shake the syrup bottle before use.

The syrup should be dosed using a dosing container and taken orally 20-30 minutes before meals.

To achieve a greater therapeutic effect in contact with respiratory viruses, it is advisable to keep the syrup in the mouth for 20-30 seconds, rinsing the throat before swallowing.

When conducting preclinical studies, teratogenic, mutagenic embryotoxic, fetotoxic and carcinogenic effects were not revealed. Clinical experience of using the drug in the I-III trimesters of pregnancy and during lactation did not reveal a negative effect. However, it is necessary to adhere to the rules of prescribing medicines during pregnancy or lactation, assessing the benefit / risk ratio and consult a doctor.

Children

Flavovir® should be used in children from birth.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: in persons with hypersensitivity, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Allergic reactions may occur, including rash, itching, hives, flushing of the skin.

On the part of the digestive system: there are cases of gastrointestinal disorders - pain in the epigastric region, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (if these symptoms are present, it is necessary to take the syrup 1.5-2 hours after eating). In patients with chronic gastroduodenitis, an exacerbation of gastroduodenitis, the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux (reflux esophagitis) is possible.

General disorders: a transient increase in body temperature up to 38 ° C is possible on the 3-10th day of drug therapy, headache.

Interaction

During clinical use, the possibility of combining Flavovir® syrup with antibiotics and antifungal drugs for the treatment of viral-bacterial and viral-fungal diseases was established. Negative manifestations due to interaction with other drugs have not been established.

Storage conditions

Store in its original packaging out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Do not freeze.

After the first opening of the bottle, store it closed in its original packaging for no more than 30 days.
