The action of the dietary supplement Gerovital Plus from Dr. Theiss is determined by the components that make up it. Indications

Long-term physical and nervous stress, especially in the elderly; recovery period after illnesses, operations; treatment and prevention of hypovitaminosis, anemia in adults.

Contraindications

Hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, hypervitaminosis of vitamins A, D, renal failure, concomitant use with retinoids and preparations containing vitamins A, D, iron, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, anemia in violation of iron metabolism (zalizorefrakterna anemia, lead anemia, thalassemia).

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Method of administration and dosage

Adults should take one tablespoon twice daily before or with meals. One tablespoon (15 ml) contains 14.96 g of the drug.

Shake the contents of the bottle before use.

The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually, as a rule, the treatment is at least 30 days.

The maximum daily dose is 30 ml. The maximum course dose is 900 ml.

Overdose

An overdose of Gerovital Dr has not been observed, but, like other drugs containing vitamins, in large doses it can cause headache, dizziness, vomiting (vitamin A), tachycardia, arterial hypotension, sudden increased sweating, shortness of breath, rash (nicotinamide). Overdosing with iron and other vitamins contained in Gerovital Dr is almost impossible.

Therapy is symptomatic. In case of overdose, consult a doctor.

Side effects

Headache, dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, itching.

Possible staining of feces in black, discoloration of urine.
