Indications:

supportive in people with reduced immunity, in the case of recurrent infections of the upper tract

product for children from 1 year of age and adults.

Action:

the active substance of the preparation is inosine pranobex, which has antiviral properties and stimulates the activity of the immune system.

Dosage:

- adults, including the elderly (over 65 years of age): the recommended daily dose is 50 mg / kg body weight per day (1 ml of syrup per 1 kg body weight per day), usually 3 g (i.e. 60 ml of syrup) 3 or 4 divided doses. The maximum dose is 4 g of inosine pranobex per day (i.e. 80 ml of syrup / day);

- children over 1 year of age: the usual recommended dose is 50 mg / kg body weight / day (1 ml of syrup per 1 kg body weight per day) in 3 or 4 equal divided doses throughout the day; the dosage depends on the body weight and amounts to:

- for children weighing: 10-14 kg 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

- for children weighing 15-20 kg: 5-7.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

- for children weighing 21-30 kg: 7.5-10 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

- for children weighing 31-40 kg: 10-15 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

- for children weighing 41-50 kg: 15-17.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day;

In order to measure the recommended volume, use the 20 ml measuring cup, graduated every 2.5 ml, included in the package. Treatment usually lasts for 5 to 14 days. After symptoms have disappeared, treatment is usually continued for 1 to 2 days.

Contraindications:

 a gout attack (severe joint pain with swelling and redness of the skin, or the large joints exudate), allergy to inosine pranobex or any of the other compounds of this medicine, or when studies have shown increased levels of uric acid in the blood, children under 1 . age.

Composition:

active substance: 1 ml of syrup contains 50 mg of inosine pranobex; excipients: sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water, sodium saccharin, glycerol, ethanol 96%, raspberry flavor L-144739 (sugar, propylene glycol, ethanol, natural fragrance).
