Peculiarities

The functional properties of the drug are due to the optimal combination of the hepatoprotective action of the milk thistle fruit extract and the extract of corn columns with stigmas (normalizing effect on the secretion of bile and motility of the biliary tract) with the regenerative and anti-inflammatory effect of the extract of medicinal marigold flowers.

The complex of substances that is part of "Hepanase®" has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties, enhances regeneration processes and local defense mechanisms. Shows antispasmodic and choleretic properties - relaxes smooth muscle fibers and stimulates the secretion and secretion of bile.

Active substances

Milk thistle fruit extract contains a sum of flavolignans called silymarin (80%). Silymarin is a mixture of three isomers - silybin, silyguanin and silychristin. Silymarin has hepatoprotective, antitoxic and antioxidant properties in acute and chronic intoxications, which is due to its ability to stabilize the membranes of liver cells, stimulate microcirculation and repair processes. Silymarin activates metabolism in hepatocytes and promotes their regeneration, improves protein-synthesizing and lipotropic functions and reduces the degree of fatty degeneration of the liver, contributes to the normalization of functional parameters - the level of bilirubin, gamma globulin, transaminases.

The extract of corn stigmas contains a large amount of biologically active substances: glycosides, saponins, cryptosanthins, ascorbic and pantothenic acids, vitamin K, flavonoids, inositol, sitosterol, stigmasterol, essential oils, tannins and many vitamins. The choleretic effect of corn columns with stigmas is due to the ability of fatty oils, flavonoids and other components to enhance the secretion of bile, reduce its viscosity and relative density with a simultaneous decrease in the content of bilirubin. There is an expansion of the gallbladder, followed by the rhythmic activity of the sphincter of Oddi, improves the secretion of bile, preventing the development of stagnation and the formation of calculi in the gallbladder. Saponins increase the secretion of glands, the activity of hormones and enzymes, regulate water-salt and mineral metabolism.

The extract of medicinal marigold flowers contains many carotenoids - carotene, lycopene, xanthini, flavochrome, as well as saponins, bitterness, phytoncides, flavonoids, glycosides, triterpendiols, malic, salicylic and ascorbic acids, tannins, vitamins, essential oils.

It is recommended as a dietary supplement to the diet for biliary dyskinesia, cholecystitis, toxic liver damage (including alcohol), chronic hepatitis, fatty degeneration and cirrhosis of the liver, as well as after removal of the gallbladder.
