Peculiarities

The effect of the preparation is due to the properties of its enriched phospholipids (lecithin) and biologically active substances contained in extracts of medicinal plants: milk thistle (seeds), artichoke (leaves), turmeric (root) and sandy immortelle (flowers).

The action of all active ingredients has been clinically proven.

The enriched phospholipids and extracts of medicinal plants, which are part of the preparation, due to the rationally selected combination, as well as the ratio of the components, and the complex effect on the hepatobiliary zone, provide a powerful hepatoprotective effect and significantly enhance the drainage function of the liver, thereby causing the excretion of toxic metabolic products with bile and exogenous toxins.

The choleretic and cholekinetic effects of the herbal extracts contained in the preparation lead to a decrease in the viscosity of bile and a decrease in its lithogenicity, which creates conditions for the reverse development of small stones of the gallbladder and bile ducts.

Active substances

Enriched phospholipids have hepatoprotective and hypocholesterolemic effects. In a healthy person, the outer membrane of the main liver cells (hepatocytes) contains a sufficient amount of phospholipids. With toxic (including preparation and alcoholic) liver damage, their content decreases, which leads to dysfunction of the cell membrane and disruption of the intracellular metabolism of hepatocytes, followed by the development of fatty degeneration and liver cirrhosis. Enriched phospholipids restore and preserve the cellular structure of the liver, normalize the energy balance of hepatocytes and slow down the formation of liver fibrosis. Possessing a lipotropic effect, enriched phospholipids reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, promoting its excretion by binding with bile acids. Enriched phospholipids increase the body's resistance to toxic substances by inhibiting the processes of lipid peroxidation (LPO), traditionally considered as one of the main mechanisms for the development of liver damage.

Milk thistle seed extract contains silymarin, which helps to stabilize the cell membranes of hepatocytes (especially in chronic inflammatory liver diseases, including viral etiology) and the transformation of aggressive free radicals into less toxic compounds with their subsequent physiological neutralization. Silymarin activates protein synthesis and accelerates the regeneration of hepatocytes, which is manifested in an improvement in the general condition of patients with liver diseases (the disappearance of itching and a feeling of heaviness in the right hypochondrium) and the normalization of blood biochemical parameters. Long-term use of silymarin increases the life expectancy of patients with liver cirrhosis.

The therapeutic effect of the artichoke leaf extract is due to the complex of cynarin, flavonoids and caffeine quinic acids included in its composition. The artichoke has a pronounced choleretic effect (the formation and secretion of bile by hepatocytes), increases the regenerative capacity of the liver, normalizes lipid metabolism, has a moderate diuretic effect, and promotes the elimination of urea and exogenous toxins from the body.

Turmeric root extract increases the production of bile in the liver and increases the content of bile acids and cholesterol in it. Regulates the secretory-motor processes of digestion, eliminates the feeling of heaviness and flatulence after eating. According to a number of studies, turmeric has a mild immunomodulatory effect and stimulates the body's immune system.

The extract of sandy immortelle flowers stimulates the formation and secretion of bile, increases the tone of the gallbladder and normalizes the cholesterol-cholate ratio. Sandy immortelle has a pronounced antispasmodic effect on the bile ducts and the sphincter of Oddi, which, together with a mild tonic effect on the smooth muscle of the gallbladder, leads to an improvement in the outflow of bile and the prevention of biliary dyskinesia.

Recommendations for use

Extracts of medicinal plants and enriched phospholipids (lecithin), which are part of the preparation, are used in complex treatment:

• chronic hepatitis of various etiology, liver cirrhosis;
• dyskinesia of the biliary tract;
• digestive disorders in chronic hepatitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis and the condition after undergoing cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder);
• for the prevention of toxic effects on the liver associated with prolonged use of preparations (antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy, and so on), alcohol intake, smoking and the influence of unfavorable environmental factors;
• as an accompanying agent for the normalization of metabolism and the activity of the hepatobiliary zone in allergic and skin diseases;
• as an aid for the normalization of digestion processes, metabolism and the activity of the hepatobiliary zone when taking medications, the action of which is aimed at reducing excess body weight.

Compound

Enriched Phospholipids (Lecithin) 100 mg

Milk thistle seed extract (silymarin) - 70 mg.

Artichoke leaf extract 50 mg

Turmeric Root Extract 50 mg

Sandy Helichrysum flower extract - 30 mg.

Excipients (lactose, starch, calcium or magnesium stearate) - 150 mg.

Mode of application

Recommended dosage for age restrictions:

adults and children over 12 years old - 1-2 capsules three times a day 5-10 minutes before meals, drink water (course of administration 20-30 days);

children from 8 to 12 years old - one capsule three times a day 5-10 minutes before meals, drink water (course of administration 20-30 days).

With the appointment of a doctor, the course of admission can be extended up to two months.

A second course - in 2-3 months.

As a prophylactic agent - one capsule three times a day 5-10 minutes before meals for 20-30 days, a break - two weeks (if necessary, the course can be repeated).

Precautionary measures

Side effects - allergic reactions to individual components of the preparation.

In the case of a significant period of time between taking the preparation and the subsequent consumption of food, mild dyspeptic symptoms (nausea, a feeling of bitterness in the mouth) may occur, which pass after the start of eating.

Application to women during pregnancy and lactation is possible only as directed by a doctor.

The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.

When using the preparation in unjustifiably high doses, dyspeptic phenomena are possible: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (symptomatic treatment is indicated, gastric lavage, intake of enterosorbents).

It is not a drug.

The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet.
