Active ingredients

Silybin is the active ingredient in milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum L. Gaertn.). Has a pronounced antioxidant effect, has a beneficial effect on liver detoxification.

Phospholipids (soy lecithin) improve gastrointestinal absorption of silybin and help protect cell membranes.

Vitamin E contributes to the protection of tissues against free radical damage and counteracts the oxidation of fats, which leads to the formation of free radicals (antioxidant activity).

Free radicals are formed as a result of normal physiological processes in the body, but they increase under conditions of cellular, inflammatory and metabolic stress under the influence of external and internal factors (viruses, preparations, alcohol, obesity, diabetes).
