Product description

A preparation in the form of a powder, which, after dissolving in water, is used as an oral rehydration fluid for dietary management in states of water and electrolyte disturbances, where there is a risk of dehydration during diarrhea and vomiting.

Application

For children over 3 years of age, adolescents and adults for the dietary management in the state of dehydration in the course of diarrhea and / or vomiting, in order to supplement fluids and minerals.

Recommended intake

Watering phase (first 3-4 hours of watering): body weight: from 12 to 15 kg: dissolve 4 sachets in 800 ml. Serve in small portions. Body weight over 15 kg: dissolve 6 sachets in 1200 ml. Serve in small portions. Maintenance irrigation phase (further stages of irrigation): body weight: from 12 to 15 kg: dissolve 1 sachet in 200 ml. Give 100ml of prepared liquid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.

Usage method

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in 200 ml of warm, boiled water. Serve chilled. The prepared solution should not be sweetened.

Ingredients

Anhydrous glucose, maltodextrin, sodium citrate, citric acid, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, flavors, acesulfame K: sweetener.

100g of the product contains:

- energy value 1173kj / 281kcal,

- 0g fat (including saturated fatty acids 0g), 70g carbohydrates (including sugars (glucose) 60g), 0g protein, 11.8g salt.

100 ml of the finished product contains:

- energy value 35kJ / 8 kcal,

- 0g fat (including saturated fatty acids 0g), 2.1g carbohydrates (including sugars (glucose) 1.8g), 0g protein, 036g salt.

Contraindications

Poor renal function, haemodynamic shock and intestinal obstruction.

Important tips

The product is taken under medical supervision.
