This preparation is indicated for immediate, short-term use in adults, in acute, moderate pains of various origins: headaches (including migraines), toothaches, muscle and bone pain (including back pain), post-traumatic and postoperative pain, including those related to dental surgery, neuralgia, painful menstruation.

1 capsule contains: active substance: 600 mg ibuprofen and excipients: macrogol 400, potassium hydroxide 50%, capsule shell: gelatin, partially dehydrated liquid sorbitol, quinoline yellow (E104), patent blue (E131).

Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic.

The preparation is administered orally. The capsule should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Adults: the recommended dose is 600 mg of ibuprofen (1 capsule) once. If necessary, a single dose of 600 mg (1 capsule) can be repeated, keeping an interval of 6 - 8 hours. The maximum daily dose, without consulting a doctor, should not exceed 1200 mg (2 capsules).

Allergy to any of the components of the preparation; gastrointestinal perforation (perforation) or bleeding related to previous NSAID therapy; active or recurrent gastric and / or duodenal ulcer disease, or gastrointestinal bleeding; severe liver failure or severe renal failure; severe heart failure or coronary artery disease; haemorrhagic diathesis (bleeding tendency); in the last three months of pregnancy; cerebrovascular or other active bleeding; if you are severely dehydrated (due to vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake); under 18; autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue diseases); congenital disorders of porphyrin metabolism (e.g. acute intermittent porphyria); fluid retention and swelling associated with taking NSAIDs; active or past bronchial asthma or symptoms of allergic reactions in the past (bronchospasm may occur after using the preparation); immediately after major surgery; Chickenpox. During the first 6 months of pregnancy, use of the preparation is not recommended unless clearly necessary. If Ibum Supermax is to be used during pregnancy planning or in the first and / or second trimester of pregnancy, the lowest possible effective dose and the shortest duration of treatment should be used. During the last 3 months of pregnancy, you must not take thepreparation  as it could increase the risk of complications for the mother and the child in the perinatal period. Ibuprofen passes into the milk of breastfeeding mothers in small amounts. When ibuprofen is taken for short periods at doses used to treat pain, harmful effects on the infant appear unlikely. However, if it is recommended to take ibuprofen longer, consider stopping breastfeeding earlier. Use with caution in the elderly.
