Pharmacological properties
Ilon is a herbal medicine that promotes blood supply to the affected area of the skin, eliminates inflammation and has a disinfectant effect. larch turpentine (terebinthina laricina) and turpentine oil (terebinthinae aetheroleum) can be applied topically in the form of ointments, gels, emulsifying ointments or patches.
The ointment contributes to the maturation and breakthrough of the abscess, while the pus is completely drawn out, which prevents the encapsulation of the purulent inflammation medium, which is completely emptied.
Indications
Local treatment for purulent inflammatory skin diseases, including abscesses, boils, carbuncles, panaritiums and inflammation of the sweat glands.
Application
Ilon should be used topically, topically, for adult patients. depending on the area of inflammation of the skin, 2–3 cm of ointment is applied and covered with a sterile gauze bandage or plaster. the bandage should be changed 1 or 2 times a day. the duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually.
