ACTION

Ionolit is a powder formulation for the preparation of an oral rehydration fluid with reduced osmolarity and sodium content, the composition of which complies with the ESPGHAN recommendations. In states of organism dehydration, irrespective of their cause, the water and electrolyte balance is disturbed. It is then necessary to supplement the diet with glucose and minerals in the right proportions. Glucose facilitates the absorption of sodium ions in the small intestine. Sodium and potassium regulate the body's water balance. Citrate ions correct the lowered pH due to dehydration, preventing excessive acidification of the body.

DOSAGE

The sachet should be opened and its contents dissolved in 200 ml of warm, boiled water. Chill before serving. The prepared solution should not be sweetened. The liquid should be consumed immediately after preparation. The solution is unfit for consumption 24 hours after preparation. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
