Indications:

Kerdex 25 mg is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparation indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain.

Properties:

The active substance of Kerdex 25 mg is dexketoprofen - a propionic acid derivative with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties.
It relieves pain of mild to moderate intensity, e.g. muscle pain, osteoarticular pain, back pain, dysmenorrhea, toothache, ear pain.
Kerdex is intended for short-term use only and treatment should be limited to the symptomatic period.

Composition:

Active substance: The active substance is dexketoprofen with trometamol.
1 film-coated tablet contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen in the form of 36.90 mg of dexketoprofen with trometamol.
Other ingredients: maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, glycerol distearate, Opadry Y-1-7000 coating (hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400).

Use:

The recommended daily dose depends on the type, severity, severity and duration of your pain, usually half a tablet (12.5 mg) every 4-6 hours or 1 tablet (25 mg) every 8 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 3 film-coated tablets (75 mg).
In elderly patients with kidney or liver disease, it is recommended to start treatment with a lower total daily dose corresponding to no more than 2 film-coated tablets (50 mg).
If the elderly are well tolerated, this starting dose may then be increased to the dose recommended for the general population (75 mg).
In case of acute pain, when faster action is needed, it is recommended to take Kerdex on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal), which will result in faster absorption of the preparation.
