Konegra Deluxe tablets are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, which is defined as the inability to achieve and maintain an erection of the penis necessary for successful intercourse.

For the effective action of the preparation Konegra Deluxe, you need sexual arousal.

Active substance: sildenafil;

1 chewable tablet contains sildenafil citrate 35.12 mg equivalent to sildenafil 25 mg;

1 chewable tablet contains 70.24 mg of sildenafil citrate equivalent to 50 mg of sildenafil;

1 chewable tablet contains sildenafil citrate 140.48 mg equivalent to sildenafil 100 mg;

Excipients: potassium polacrilin; purified water potassium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid; magnesium stearate silicon dioxide colloidal aspartame (E 951) croscarmellose sodium; mint flavor; lactose monohydrate, povidone K-30.

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients of the preparation.

Concomitant use with nitric oxide donors (such as amyl nitrite) or nitrates in any form is contraindicated, since it is known that sildenafil affects the pathways of nitric oxide / cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) metabolism and potentiates the hypotensive effect of nitrates.

The simultaneous use of PDE-5 inhibitors (including sildenafil) with guanylate cyclase stimulants, such as riociguat, is contraindicated because it can lead to symptomatic hypotension.

Conditions for which sexual activity is not recommended (for example, severe cardiovascular disorders such as unstable angina or severe heart failure).

Loss of vision in one eye due to non-arterial anterior ischemic neuropathy of the optic nerve, regardless of whether this pathology is associated with previous use of PDE-5 inhibitors or not.

The presence of such diseases: severe liver dysfunction, arterial hypotension (blood pressure below 90/50 mm Hg).

Recently suffered stroke or myocardial infarction and known hereditary degenerative retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa (a small number of such patients have genetic disorders of the retinal PDE), since the safety of sildenafil has not been studied in the case of such diseases.

The preparation is administered orally. Chew the tablet before swallowing.

Adults. The recommended dose is 50 mg and is applied, if necessary, about an hour before intercourse. Depending on the effectiveness and tolerability of the preparation, the dose can be increased to 100 mg or reduced to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg.

In studies involving volunteers, when using a single dose of sildenafil up to 800 mg, adverse reactions were similar to those observed with the use of sildenafil at lower doses, but were more frequent and more severe. The use of sildenafil at a dose of 200 mg did not lead to an increase in efficacy, but caused an increase in the number of cases of adverse reactions (headache, flushing, dizziness, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, visual disturbances).

In case of overdose, if necessary, resort to the usual supportive measures. An acceleration of the clearance of sildenafil during hemodialysis is unlikely due to the high degree of binding of the preparation to blood plasma proteins and the lack of elimination of sildenafil in the urine.

The most commonly reported adverse reactions were headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, back pain, dizziness, nausea, hot flashes, visual disturbances, cyanopsia, and blurred vision.

Sildenafil metabolism occurs predominantly with the participation of the ZA4 isoform (major pathway) and the 2C9 isoform (minor pathway) of cytochrome P450 (CYP). Therefore, inhibitors of these isoenzymes can reduce the clearance of sildenafil, and inducers of these isoenzymes can increase the clearance of sildenafil.
