Product description

Lacrimal moisturizing eye drops are classified as "artificial tears" preparations. They are designed to replace tears and soothe symptoms of discomfort and eye irritation caused by insufficient tear production. They are suitable for use in dry eye syndrome caused by environmental factors, such as: prolonged computer work or reading, air conditioning, air pollution, staying in dusty rooms, driving a vehicle for many hours, prolonged exposure to the sun and wind. They can also be used in case of eye irritation or a feeling of dryness caused by e.g. inflammation or wearing contact lenses. What's more, they cover the corneal epithelium and prevent conjunctival irritation when wearing an eye prosthesis.

Application

For adults and children to use to alleviate the symptoms of dry eye, e.g. when staying in an air-conditioned room or when staying in the sun and wind for a long time, while working at a computer for many hours in a car, in people wearing contact lenses, in inflammations

Usage method

For use in the eyes.

Adults and children: usually 1-2 drops are instilled into the conjunctival sac and used 4-6 times a day.

Before using the product, wash your hands thoroughly.

Remove the cap, put the product into the eye (s) and blink gently.

Close the bottle.

Do not touch the tip of the dropper as this may contaminate the contents of the bottle.

Use for no more than 30 days.

Ingredients

Polyvinyl alcohol, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride solution, purified water.

Contraindications

Do not use in the case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.

Do not use on contact lenses.

Important tips

After opening the bottle, the product is usable for 30 days.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in the outer carton.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children, at a temperature below 25 ° C.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.

Warnings

The product contains benzalkonium chloride, which may be absorbed by contact lenses and may change their color and cause eye irritation. Before applying the drops, remove contact lenses, which can be reinserted at least 15 minutes after instillation.

If other eye drops are being used at the same time, Lacrimal should be used last, leaving a 15-minute interval.

If symptoms of eye irritation (e.g., pain, redness) do not improve or worsen within 72 hours, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.

Some people experience temporary stinging, burning or irritation during instillation of the drops.

In very rare cases, some patients with severe damage to the cornea (the transparent outer layer of the eye) may develop cloudy spots on the cornea due to calcium build-up.
