Lasolvan® is a mucolytic agent that reduces the viscosity of sputum and improves its removal from the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration and reduces cough.

Action

Ambroxol hydrochloride - the active substance of the preparation - increases the release of pulmonary surfactant, which leads to the thinning of sputum in the respiratory tract in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with disorders of the removal of viscous mucus.

It has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces pain and redness in the treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Indications for use

Secretolytic therapy for acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with violation of bronchial secretion and weakening of the promotion of mucus.

Contraindication

Lasolvan® cannot be used in patients with hypersensitivity to ambroxol hydrochloride or to other components of the preparation.

Method of application and dosage

Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 tablet 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days. Continue treatment with 1 tablet 2 times a day.

If necessary, the therapeutic effect for adults and children over 12 years old can be increased by using 2 tablets 2 times a day.

Tablets should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid (eg water, tea or fruit juice), with or without food.

Lasolvan®, tablets, should not be used for longer than 4-5 days without consulting a doctor.

Storage

Active substance: ambroxol hydrochloride; 1 tablet contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg.

Excipients: lactose, monohydrate; corn starch; colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide; magnesium stearate.

Special instructions

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy. As a result of clinical studies of the use of the preparation after the 28th week of pregnancy, no harmful effects on the fetus were found.

Breast feeding. Lasolvan® is not recommended for use during breastfeeding.

Children

It is used for children over 6 years of age who cannot tolerate syrup or solution for inhalation and oral use.
