Indications

Malaise on a psychosomatic basis with symptoms: excessive sensitivity to weather changes, nervous disorders of the stomach and intestines (flatulence, abdominal pain). The preparation can also be used as an auxiliary to reduce the feeling of symptoms associated with colds and flu.

Composition

100 ml of Melisana Klosterfrau contains essential oils distilled with alcohol from 4.04 g of a mixture of: lemon balm leaves 10.48%, oman rhizomes 13.96%, angelica root 13.96%, ginger rhizomes 13.96%, clove flowers 5.57% , galangal rhizomes 5.57%, black pepper fruit 1.39%, gentian root 13.69%, orange fruit 13.96%, cinnamon bark 6.28%, cinnamon flowers 0.7%, cardamom fruit 0.2% . 100 ml contains 62 mg of volatile oils from the above-mentioned raw materials in 66.8% (v / v) of ethanol.

Action

Calming, spasmolytic and regulating digestion, as well as improving blood circulation.

Dosage

Oral use: usually 1 to 3 teaspoons of the preparation diluted with at least twice the amount of water or other liquid, or put on a sugar cube. External use in neuralgia, rheumatic pains, post-workout muscle pains and gunshots should be rubbed undiluted into painful areas. When applied to sensitive areas of the skin or used in the form of a compress, the preparation can be diluted with two parts of water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to the excipient (ethyl alcohol). Do not use in ulcers of the gastric and intestinal mucosa. The preparation contains 66.8% vol. ethyl alcohol and should not be used in patients with liver disease, alcoholism, people with brain injuries, patients suffering from epilepsy, as well as pregnant and lactating women and children. Do not use on damaged skin.
