Product description

Miaser tablets are indicated for depressive conditions of various origins.

Compound

Active substance: mianserin;

1 tablet contains mianserin hydrochloride - 10 mg, 30 mg or 60 mg;

Excipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, methylcellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, corn starch, purified water;

Film shell: sepifilm 752 white (hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyoxyl 40 stearate, titanium dioxide), macrogol 8000, purified water.

Contraindications

Manic states, severe liver dysfunctions.

Mode of application

Miaser tablets should be taken orally, swallowed without chewing, washed down with water.

The dose of the preparation is determined by the doctor individually for each patient.

For adults, the recommended starting dose of the preparation is 30 mg per day. The dose can be gradually increased every 3-4 days for optimal clinical response. As a rule, the effective daily dose of the preparation is 60-90 mg, the maximum is 90 mg.

Overdose

Symptoms of a significant excess of the recommended doses of Miaser are generally limited to prolonged sedation. Cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, severe arterial hypotension and respiratory depression are rare.

Treatment. There is no specific antidote. Gastric lavage is recommended, followed by symptomatic therapy and maintenance of the basic vital functions of the body.

Side effects

Patients suffering from depression develop symptoms that are directly related to the disease itself (dry mouth, persistent constipation, impaired accommodation).

Interaction

Miaser is able to enhance the depressing effect of alcohol on the central nervous system, therefore, patients are not recommended to consume alcohol during treatment.
