Mildralex-Zdorovye  is a structural analogue of γ-butyrobetaine, a precursor of carnitine. The preparation, inhibiting the activity of γ-butyrobetaine hydroxylase, reduces the biosynthesis of carnitine and the transport of long-chain fatty acids through cell membranes, prevents the accumulation of activated forms of unoxidized fatty acids - acylcarnitine A derivatives in cells, thus preventing their adverse effects.

Mildralex-Zdorovye restores the balance of the processes of oxygen delivery and its consumption in cells; prevents disruptions in the transport of ATP, at the same time activates glycolysis, which occurs without additional oxygen consumption.

As a result of a decrease in the concentration of carnitine, γ-butyrobetin is intensively synthesized, which exhibits a vasodilating property.

The mechanism of action of the preparation determines a wide range of its pharmacological effects.

It increases efficiency, reduces the severity of the symptom of mental and physical stress.

The preparation has a pronounced cardioprotective effect. In heart failure, it improves myocardial contractility, increases exercise tolerance. With stable angina pectoris II and III functional class increases the physical performance of patients and reduces the frequency of angina attacks.

In acute and chronic ischemic disorders of cerebral circulation, Mildralex-Zdorovye improves blood circulation in the ischemic focus, contributing to the redistribution of cerebral blood flow in favor of the ischemic area.

The preparation also has a tonic effect on the central nervous system, eliminates functional disorders of the somatic and autonomic nervous system, including withdrawal symptoms in patients with chronic alcoholism. The preparation also has a positive effect on dystrophic retinal vessels and cellular immunity.

The bioavailability of the preparation is 100%. Cmax in blood plasma is achieved immediately after administration. T½ is 3-6 hours.

As part of the complex therapy of ischemic heart disease (angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, chronic heart failure and dyshormonal cardiomyopathy); acute and chronic disorders of the blood supply to the brain (cerebral strokes and chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency); hemophthalmos and retinal hemorrhages of various etiologies, thrombosis of the central retinal vein and its branches, retinopathy of various etiologies (diabetic, hypertensive); decreased performance, physical overload, including among athletes; withdrawal syndrome in chronic alcoholism (in combination with specific therapy for alcoholism).

As part of complex therapy 0.5–1 g / day (5–10 ml of injection solution 0.5 g / 5 ml). Apply the entire dose at once or dividing it into 2 doses. The course of treatment is 4–6 weeks.

Routes of administration are intravenous and parabulbar.

Violation of cerebral circulation: acute phase - 0.5 g 1 time per day i.v. for 10 days, then switch to taking capsules. The general course of treatment is 4–6 weeks.

Chronic disorders - oral dosage form is used. Repeated courses are possible (usually 2-3 times a year).

Vascular pathology and degenerative diseases of the retina: 0.5 ml parabulbar injection solution 0.5 g / 5 ml for 10 days.

Mental and physical overload: 0.5 g IV 1 time per day. The course of treatment is 10-14 days. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 2-3 weeks.

Chronic alcoholism: IV, 0.5 g, 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 7-10 days.
