Molvagin ™ pessaries moisturize the vaginal mucosa, promote its regeneration, help maintain the natural pH level and protect the vagina from adverse external factors.

Peculiarities

Sodium hyaluronate protects and moisturizes the vaginal mucosa, promotes tissue healing and regeneration.

Lactic acid helps maintain the natural pH of the mucous membrane (pH ≤ 4.5) to reduce risk.

Glycogen creates a protective barrier and is a source of nutrients for lactic acid bacteria, which form a healthy vaginal flora, protecting the vagina from infections and helping to maintain the natural pH level.

The pessaries dissolve after insertion into the vagina and create a film that covers the mucous membrane, helping to restore the natural state of the vaginal epithelium.

Recommendations for use

To relieve dryness and discomfort (sensations of tension, itching, burning) in intimate areas caused by:

• lack of estrogen (during perimenopause, and so on);
• atrophy of the vaginal mucosa;
• increased stressful condition.
• Pessaries contribute to the regeneration process of the vaginal mucosa:
• during menopause, in case of atrophy of the vaginal epithelium;
• with dystrophy of the vaginal epithelium, caused, for example, by the use of hormonal drugs (including antagonists of gonadoliberin GnRH, glucocorticosteroids);
• after chemotherapy, radiotherapy;
• after gynecological procedures (for example, colposcopy, electrocautery, cryoablation and surgery, for example, episiotomy);
• in the postpartum period.

Pessaries help maintain the natural microflora and pH level of the mucous membrane, for example after antibiotic treatment.

Compound

One pessary contains 10 mg of sodium hyaluronate, starch, lactic acid and excipients (sodium lactate and semisynthetic glycerides).

Mode of application

Wash hands thoroughly.

If the pessary is very soft due to the high temperature, it should be placed in the refrigerator for a few minutes before removing it from the foil.

Tear off one pessary from the blister, slowly separate the two layers that cover it, remove them and carefully take out the pessary.

Gently place the pessary deep into the vagina. To facilitate insertion, the pessary can be moistened with warm boiled water.

Recommended dosage:

• basic therapy - 1 pessary in the evening before going to bed for 7 consecutive days or as recommended by a doctor;
• maintenance therapy - 1 pessary in the evening before going to bed every 2-3 days until health improvement or as recommended by a doctor.

If maintenance therapy follows the baseline, then the total duration of drug use cannot exceed 30 days. Then the treatment must be suspended for 7 days.

Do not use two doses at the same time and at short intervals.

Precautionary measures

Do not use these pessaries if you have a hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the preparation.

In the case of vaginal infections, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Due to the insufficient number of studies carried out, pregnant and lactating women can use the drug only under medical supervision.

Do not use in conjunction with other vaginal medications.

If the drug is used together with topical pain relievers, it can lead to an increase in anesthesia, since the drug contains sodium hyaluronate.

Do not use during menstruation.

Do not have intercourse immediately after the introduction of the pessary.

Do not use in conjunction with condoms or vaginal contraceptives made of latex, as the product contains modified fats.

Do not swallow.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.

Store away from light and out of reach of children.

Do not use if blister is damaged.

If any adverse reactions were found after the introduction of the pessary (increased itching, burning, rashes, and so on), it is necessary to discontinue therapy and consult a doctor.

Wear hygienic protective equipment to avoid contamination of the laundry.

Each pessary can only be used once. Reusing the same pessary can put you at risk of vaginal infection.

Storage conditions

Store in tightly closed containers at room temperature (15-25 ° C) and in a dry place.

Shelf life is 3 years.
