Active substances

Cranberries contain proanthocyatidins, dense tannins and fructose. These substances help to inhibit the adhesion of uropathogenic E. coli and other bacteria to the epithelial cells of the urinary tract. This effect contributes to the rapid elimination of infectious agents, preventing microbial colonization of the urinary system and the development of inflammation.
