Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. Normoven has a venotonic and angioprotective effect, increases venous tone, reduces venous distension and venostasis, improves microcirculation, reduces capillary permeability and increases their resistance, improves lymphatic drainage, increasing lymphatic outflow.

The preparation also reduces the interaction of leukocytes with endothelial cells, adhesion of leukocytes in postcapillary venules. This reduces the damaging effect of inflammatory mediators on the walls of the veins and the valve leaflets of the veins.

Pharmacokinetics. T1 / 2 of the preparation is 11 hours.

The excretion of the active substance of the preparation occurs mainly through the intestines. An average of 14% of the dose taken is excreted in the urine.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of venolymphatic insufficiency (heaviness in the legs, pain, swelling). symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids.

Application

For oral administration; assigned to adults.

Treatment of venolymphatic insufficiency (symptoms: swelling, pain, heaviness in the legs, night cramps, trophic ulcers, lymphedema, etc.).

The recommended dose is 2 tablets per day: 1 tablet during the day and 1 tablet in the evening during meals. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day, once with meals.

Treatment of chronic hemorrhoids. 2 tablets per day (in 2 divided doses) with meals. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day, once with meals.

Treatment of acute hemorrhoids. 6 tablets per day for 4 days, then 4 tablets per day for the next 3 days. Apply with meals. Divide the daily number of tablets into 2-3 doses.

A course of treatment. The duration of treatment depends on the indications for use and the course of the disease. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 months.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Side effects

From the nervous system: dizziness, headache, malaise.

From the digestive system: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting; colitis.

On the part of the skin and subcutaneous tissue: rash, itching, urticaria; isolated edema of the face, lips, eyelids. In exceptional cases, Quincke's edema.

Due to the content of the yellow sunset FCF in the composition of the preparation, allergic reactions are possible.

Special instructions

The use of this preparation for acute hemorrhoids does not replace specific treatment and does not interfere with the treatment of other proctological diseases. if during a short course of treatment the symptoms do not disappear quickly, a proctological examination should be carried out and therapy should be reviewed.

In cases of venous circulation disorders, more effective treatment is provided by a combination of therapy in compliance with the following lifestyle recommendations:

Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, long-term stay on the legs, overweight;

walking and, in some cases, wearing special stockings to improve blood circulation.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnant women should be prescribed the preparation with caution. Consult your doctor before use.

It is known that the combination of active substances included in the composition of the preparation does not have a teratogenic effect; no side effects were reported.

Due to the lack of data on the penetration of the preparation into breast milk, the use of the preparation during breastfeeding should be avoided.

The available data indicate that there is no effect of active substances on the fertility of rats.

Children. There are no data on the use of the preparation Normoven in children.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and work with precision mechanisms. The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with different mechanisms. Care should be taken in case of signs of side effects of the preparation.
