Product description

Oftaloz Pro is a moisturizing and protective solution in the form of eye drops, which works thanks to the caramelose content. It is a polysaccharide that moisturizes the surface of the eye and protects it from irritation. In addition, carmellose creates a transparent and viscoelastic protective layer on the eye, thanks to which it helps to relieve unpleasant discomfort, such as burning, itching or foreign body sensation. The moisturizing effect of the drops will be most appreciated by people with the symptoms of dry eye associated with long looking at the computer monitor, rare blinking, after medical treatment, and people staying in dry or polluted air. The drops can be used on contact lenses without having to remove them.

Application

Moisturizing and protecting the surface of the eye, especially in the case of:

• dry eye symptoms
• rarely blinking,
• a recent medical procedure
• stay in dry and polluted air.

Usage method

Before the first administration, tear off the seal.

Remove the protective cap and open the bottle.

Instill 1-2 drops into each eye by squeezing the bottle gently.

Before putting the cap on the container, shake the bottle to remove any drop leftovers, taking care not to touch anything with the tip of the applicator, including your eye or fingers.

Close the bottle after use: the contents should be used within 3 months from the date of first opening.

The product is suitable for frequent use. Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, the product can be used even several times a day (3 or 4 times, or more often if necessary) to ensure adequate hydration. As the specificity of dry eye varies from person to person, the drops should be used as often as necessary to relieve symptoms.

Ingredients

1% sodium carmellose (carboxymethylcellulose), boric acid, sodium tetraborate decahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections. Without preservatives.

Contraindications

The use of the product is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components.

If problems occur during treatment, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.

Important tips

The product packaging should only be used by one user.

The product is intended for ophthalmic use only.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package and label.

After use, throw the packaging in a bin.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Warnings

Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged when first opened or not closed perfectly.

During application, do not touch the eyes or any other surface with the tip of the applicator.

After using the product, you may experience blurred vision for a short time. Do not drive or use machines until your vision is normal.

As with all eye drops, the product is unlikely to occasionally cause mild irritation, burning or itching of the eyes, but these effects are usually short-lived and may affect a very small number of people.

If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor immediately.

Additional information

Gradually emptying the bottle, it may be necessary to exert more and more pressure on the bottle in order to deliver the product. It is related to the properties of the dispenser, thanks to which the sterility as well as the chemical and physical properties of the solutions without preservatives are preserved.
