Product description

OptiFibre is a prebiotic fiber of plant origin, it is recommended for use in the case of constipation, in children over 3 years of age and adults, also by pregnant and lactating women. The product facilitates the excretion of food residues in patients with impaired colon function. OptiFibre fiber has a dual action: it has a laxative effect - it softens the stool and increases its frequency, and also relieves gas and gas. Restores the balance of the intestinal microbiota - thanks to its prebiotic effect, it increases the amount of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria. The preparation has a neutral taste, so it does not affect the taste and smell of the dishes to which it is added. It does not cause the risk of intestinal laxity, which makes it safe for use.

Application

For the dietary management of constipation, for children over 3 years of age and adults.

Recommended intake

• Children over 3 years of age: start with ½ dose per day.
• If necessary, increase to 1 dose.
• Adults: start with 1 dose per day.
• If necessary, depending on individual needs, gradually increase the amount by 1 dose every 3 days.
• Do not exceed the daily dose of 4 tablespoons (20 g).

The daily dose can be divided over the day and should not be exceeded without consulting your doctor. In order to restore the balance of the intestinal microbiota, the preparation should be taken for at least 14 days. Due to the natural mode of action, the product can be used for a long time and its intake resumed if necessary.

Usage method

The preparation can be mixed with any non-carbonated drinks (water, coffee, fruit juice) or thick products (yoghurt, soup), warm or cold.

Ingredients

Partially hydrolyzed guar gum.

100 g of the product contains:

• energy value 816 kJ / 202 kcal,
• fat 0 g, including: saturated fatty acids 0 g, carbohydrates 6 g, including: sugars 6 g, fiber 86 g, protein <1.5 g, salt <0.5 g,
• sodium <200 mg, potassium <500 mg.

5 g (one flat spoon) of the product contains:

• energy value 41 kJ / 10 kcal,
• fat 0 g, including: saturated fatty acids 0 g, carbohydrates 0.30 g, including: sugars 0.30 g, fiber 4.3 g, protein <0.075 g, salt <0.025 g,
• sodium <10 mg, potassium <25 mg.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

Important tips

Use under medical supervision.

The product is unsuitable for use as the sole source of food.

Store in a cool and dry place, use within 8 weeks of opening.

The prepared portion should be eaten immediately or thoroughly covered, refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours.
