The properties of the preparation are due to the active components that make up its composition. Boric acid, sodium tetraborate have an antiseptic effect, salicylic acid - antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and keratoplastic effect; zinc oxide and lead acetate - adsorbent, antimicrobial, astringent action; hexamethylenetetramine and formaldehyde - disinfectant, antimicrobial, antifungal and deodorant action; menthol (which is part of peppermint oil) - a cooling, vasodilating effect.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, chronic kidney disease, acute inflammatory diseases of the skin and adjacent tissues, damage to the skin at the site of application, spasmophilia, bronchial asthma.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions.

When used simultaneously with preparations for external use, new compounds with unpredictable effects can be formed.

Since the preparation contains salicylic acid, Teymurov's Paste should not be combined with oral administration of preparations containing acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations. Do not use in conjunction with benzoyl peroxide and topical retinoids.

Salicylic acid can increase the permeability of the skin to other topical preparations and thereby increase their absorption into the body. In addition, salicylic acid can enhance the undesirable effect of methotrexate and the hypoglycemic effect of oral antidiabetic preparations - sulfonylurea derivatives.

Features of the application.

Teimurov's paste should not be applied to large areas of the body, open wounds, scalp, and inflammatory skin diseases. do not allow the preparation to come into contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. in case of contact with the eyes, remove the paste with a gauze pad and rinse the eyes thoroughly with warm water.

Application during pregnancy or lactation.

The preparation is contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.

The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

The preparation does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or work with other mechanisms.

Method of administration and dosage.

The medicinal product is intended for external use. the affected skin areas for adults and children over 14 years of age should be treated 2-3 times a day, applying a thin layer of paste. it is not recommended to apply the preparation to large areas of the skin. the duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually and depends on the achieved effect and the course of the disease.

Children.

Do not use in children under 14 years of age.

Overdose.

With prolonged use of the preparation on large surfaces, manifestations of an overdose are possible: headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, diarrhea, skin rash. in these cases, you should stop using the preparation, prescribe detoxification and symptomatic therapy.

Adverse reactions.

Possible headache, nausea, in severe cases - vomiting, confusion, dizziness, tinnitus, epigastric pain, acidosis, rapid breathing, diarrhea, oliguria; when applied to large areas of the skin, the development of renal failure is possible.

Local reactions: irritation, pain, burning sensation, dry skin. Allergic reactions are possible, including skin redness, rash, itching, urticaria, flaking of the skin, contact dermatitis, anaphylactic reactions, including shock, angioedema.
