Indications

The preparation is intended for infants from 0 months and children with fever lasting no more than 3 days and mild to moderate pain.

Composition

1 ml of solution contains 100 mg of paracetamol (10% concentration)

Dosage

It is imperative to adhere to the dosage based on the child's body weight and thus determine the appropriate dose in ml of the oral solution.

Dose of 15 mg / kg body weight every 6 hours

Easy conversion: body weight x 0.15 = the amount of Pedicetamol® in ml, e.g .: 10 kg x 0.15 = 1.5 ml

Dose of 10 mg / kg body weight every 4 hours

Easy conversion factor: body weight x 0.10 = amount of Pedicetamol® in ml, e.g. 10 kg x 0.10 = 1.0 ml

The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg / kg / day given as 4 or 6 doses per day, e.g. 15 mg / kg. every 6 hours or 10 mg / kg every 4 hours. If, with the recommended dosing every 6 hours, the desired effect is not achieved within 3-4 hours, the preparation can be administered every 4 hours. In this case, a dose of 10 mg / kg body weight should be administered.
