Indications

Symptomatic treatment of colds.

Composition

1 tablet contains: active substance: 20 mg of dry extract of Pelargonium sidoides DC and / or Pelargonium reniforme Curt., Radix (pelargonium root) - Pelargonium radicis extractum siccum (4-7: 1). Extraction solvent: ethanol 14% (v / v). Excipients included in the tablet: extract (powdered cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica); tablet core (microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate); tablet coating (hypromellose, macrogol 6000, yellow iron oxide E172, red iron oxide E172, titanium dioxide E171, talc).

Action

Pelafen is a traditional herbal medicinal product for use in specific indications arising only from long-term use.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 tablet 3 times a day (morning, noon, evening). Children 6-12 years of age: 1 tablet 2 times a day (morning and evening). Swallow it whole with a little water. Don't chew it.

Contraindications

Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation. In the event of dyspnoea, fever, coughing up blood or purulent discharge, or if the symptoms of the disease do not improve within a week, contact your doctor. Cases of hepatotoxicity and hepatitis have been reported with the use of the preparation. If symptoms of hepatotoxicity occur, discontinue use of the preparation immediately and contact a physician. Due to the lack of data, use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended. It is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
