Pilobakt Neo is a combination kit that contains omeprazole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin. Indications for use - eradication of Helicobacter pylori in patients with gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Composition

Amoxicillin tablets - 1 film-coated tablet contains amoxicillin trihydrate equivalent to amoxicillin 1000 mg;

clarithromycin tablets - 1 film-coated tablet contains clarithromycin 500 mg;

omeprazole capsules - 1 capsule contains omeprazole 20 mg;

excipients: amoxicillin tablets: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate; shell composition: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, titanium dioxide (E 171), Parmasil, FCF yellow dye (E 110), polyethylene glycol;

clarithromycin tablets: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talc, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium; shell composition: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, propylene glycol, sorbitanoleate, titanium dioxide (E 171), quinoline yellow dye (E 104), vanillin, opacod (black) contains: shellac, iron oxide black, propylene glycol;

Omeprazole capsules: starch, dextrin, powdered sugar, talc, cane sugar, sodium carboxymethyl starch, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium sulfite anhydrous, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), polyethylene glycol 4000, sodium citrate, polyacrylic acid gum emulsion, granules non-pareil, empty hard gelatin capsule size "2" contains: diamond blue, carmoisine, gelatin, methylparaben, propylparaben.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to omeprazole, clarithromycin, other macrolides, amoxicillin, other beta-lactam antibiotics and substituted benzimidazoles or other components of the preparation.

Omeprazole, like other proton pump inhibitors, should not be taken together with atazanavir and nelfinavir.

Application method

1 blister containing 2 capsules of omeprazole, 2 tablets of clarithromycin and 2 tablets of amoxicillin, designed for the 1st day of treatment for adults. In the morning, take 1 capsule of omeprazole and 1 tablet each of clarithromycin and amoxicillin, in the evening, repeat the intake of the indicated preparations.

The total duration of therapy is 7 days.

Features of application

Amoxicillin

Anticoagulants. Prolongation of prothrombin time has been reported very rarely in patients receiving amoxicillin. When simultaneously prescribing the preparation with anticoagulants, appropriate control should be carried out and the dose of the latter should be adjusted, if necessary.

Clarithromycin

Prolonged or repeated use of antibiotics can cause overgrowth of non-susceptible bacteria and fungi. If superinfection occurs, clarithromycin should be discontinued and appropriate therapy initiated.

Omeprazole

In the presence of any worrisome symptom (for example, marked weight loss, recurrent vomiting, dysphagia, bloody vomiting or melena), as well as in the presence or suspicion of a gastric ulcer, malignancy must be ruled out, since treatment can reduce the severity of symptoms and delay the establishment diagnosis

Pilobakt Neo is contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Children

Contraindicated for children under 16 years of age.

Drivers

When using the preparation, you should refrain from driving vehicles and working with other mechanisms.

Overdose

Omeprazole

Symptoms nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal pain, headache, diarrhea.

Amoxicillin

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; a consequence of vomiting and diarrhea can be a violation of the water-electrolyte balance. In isolated cases - crystalluria.

Clarithromycin

Symptoms May cause gastrointestinal symptoms.

Side effects

The preparations included in the combined set are well tolerated, and adverse reactions are usually mild and reversible.
