Indications:

for use in minor wounds (abrasions, scratches, bites), burns and skin ulcers.

Ingredients:

1 g of ointment contains 5 mg of neomycin sulfate (Neomycini sulfas), 5000 IU polymyxin B sulfate (Polymyxini B sulfas) and 400 IU zinc bacitracin (Bacitracinum zincum) and auxiliary substances.

Action:

bactericidal (protects wounds against infection).

Dosage:

application to the skin. Clean the injured area and cover with a small amount of the preparation. Polibiotic should be applied to the affected area of ​​the skin 2 to 5 times a day. The application site may be covered with a gauze dressing or left uncovered. Do not use for more than 7 days. After completing treatment, Polibiotic should not be used again for 3 months.

Contraindications:

hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients; in case of hearing impairment; do not use in the eyes, on mucous membranes, on deep stab wounds, severe burns or large areas of damaged skin, and on oozing lesions, due to the risk of absorption of active substances into the systemic circulation and their systemic side effects (ototoxicity, neurotoxicity). Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and in children under 12 years of age.
