Ranigast® SOS Milk is a medical device in the form of an oral suspension with a delicate flavor intended for use in relieving the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux, the symptoms of which are heartburn, the so-called acid regurgitation, stomach pain, and a pain and burning sensation in your esophagus. In addition, the active ingredients of the product protect the gastric mucosa against damage that may be caused by the decrease in the pH of gastric acids due to acidity. The milk helps to reduce acidity, thus preventing the burning sensation, abdominal pain and indigestion.

Ranigast® SOS milk contains several active substances with a synergistic effect in the acidic environment of the stomach, including sodium alginate, potassium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate characterized by fast action. Alginates are polysaccharides, the fibers of which gelify quickly in the acidic environment of the stomach. The resulting gel creates a protective layer on the surface of the gastric mucosa. At the same time, the combination of carbonate and bicarbonate allows you to neutralize the acidity of gastric juice. In addition, the carbon dioxide bubbles formed by the reaction with hydrochloric acid become trapped in the alginate gel, which then becomes a foam that floats on the surface of the gastric juice and forms a barrier that reduces the number of reflux episodes.

The medical device Ranigast® SOS Milk is effective regardless of the root cause of the problem. It can be used both in adults and in children 6 years of age and older * as well as an adjunct to patients with gastritis.

Application

Relief of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux including heartburn and stomach pain.

Reducing the acidity of gastric juice.

Protection of the gastric mucosa.

Usage method

Adults and adolescents aged 12-18 years: 15 ml (1 tablespoon) after two main meals during the day and at bedtime.

Children 9-12 years old: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) after two main meals during the day and at bedtime.

Children 6-9 years old: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) after two main meals during the day and at bedtime.

Use until symptoms disappear.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

If the problem persists after a month of using the product, consult a doctor.

Ingredients

15 ml of oral suspension (1 tablespoon) contains:

active substances: sodium alginate 410 mg, calcium carbonate 51 mg, potassium bicarbonate 205 mg,

excipients: ginger extract (flavor), ginger essential oil (flavor), anise and milk flavors, water, carbomer, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sucralose.

Contraindications

• Diagnosed hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the product.
• Chronic constipation or diarrhea.
• Kidney disease.
• Chronic heart failure.
• Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
• Do not take in case of product intolerance.

Important tips

* In children and adolescents aged 6-18 years, the product can be used only when absolutely necessary and after consulting a doctor.

During pregnancy or breastfeeding, the product should be used only after consulting a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended dose as larger amounts may lead to constipation or transient diarrhea.

In the case of using oral medications, dietary supplements, herbal and homeopathic preparations, at least two hours should be left between the use of the medical device Ranigast® SOS Mleczko and the above-mentioned preparations.

Due to the sticky form, the medical device may delay or limit the absorption of medications, including contraceptives.

Taking the medical device does not constitute a contraindication to the use of omeprazole, cimetidine or cisapride (their simultaneous use should be consulted with a doctor).

Store in a dry place at a temperature of 15-25 ℃, away from direct heat or light, out of the reach of children.

Do not use if package is damaged.

After first opening the bottle, the medical device may be used for up to 3 months.

Warnings

At doses necessary to achieve therapeutic effect, the only reported adverse reactions may be constipation and transient nausea.
